In Enshrouded, Shroud Sacks are uncraftable resources obtained by defeating specific enemies within the dangerous Shroud areas. The primary use of Shroud Sacks is for strengthening your Flame Altar, a key structure for crafting, healing, and resisting the Shroud’s harmful effects. A stronger Flame Altar allows deeper exploration and resource gathering. Other than that Shroud Sacks are essential for crafting certain items, like Shroud Arrows for Ranger players, which offer additional damage compared to regular arrows.
Where to find Shroud Sacks in Enshrouded
Shroud Sacks are valuable resources you’ll need in Enshrouded for crafting various items and upgrading your Flame Altar. However, they can only be obtained by defeating specific enemies within the Shroud, the game’s most dangerous areas.
The difficulty of obtaining Shroud Sacks depends on the enemy you choose. Two main enemy types drop Shroud Sacks Blue Flower Enemies and Red Mushroom Enemies. Blue Flower Enemies are found in heavily Shrouded areas around the Revelwood and Nomad Highlands. They are easier to defeat than Red Mushroom Enemies, making them a good option for players still in early game. Red Mushroom Enemies can be found in deeper Shrouded zones like Umber Hollow in the Nomad Highlands. They are much tougher and require ranged attacks or strategic dodging to beat.
To farm Shroud Sacks players should first upgrade their Flame Altar. You’ll need at least level 3 to access most Shrouded areas where enemies that drop Shroud Sacks spawn. Start with Blue Flowers. They are easier to handle, especially if you’re using a bow or staff to keep your distance. Be cautious around Red Mushrooms as their poison clouds and fast attacks can quickly drain your health.
When venturing to collect Shroud Sacks bring healing items. The enemies you’re going to fight are strong so expect to take some damage. Stocking up on bandages or other healing supplies can make farming a bit easier.
