Helldivers 2 players can’t wait to get their hands on new weapons, and recent leaks have let us know what to expect in future updates. In addition to mechs, four new weapons and two backpacks have been discovered to be in the works. No solid release date has been announced for the new guns and equipment, but it likely won’t be too long given their advanced state.
What new weapons are coming to Helldivers 2?
So far, we’ve found seven new Helldivers 2 weapons that have leaked via Reddit. Note that these are in the testing phase and that all information is subject to change.
AR-20L Justice
- Stats:
- Damage: 80
- Capacity: 20
- Recoil: 50
- Fire Rate: 550
- Weapon Traits: Medium Armor Penetrating
- Description: A high-caliber rifle with high damage and penetration.
AR-48 Truth Whisperer
- Stats:
- Damage: 55
- Capacity: 30
- Recoil: 0
- Fire Rate: 750
- Weapon Traits: Light Armor Penetrating
- Description: A silenced assault rifle with a built-in suprpressor, which won’t alert distant targets to the user’s posiiton.
ARC-12 Blitzer Shotgun
- Stats:
- Recoil: 60
- (Only partial stats are available for the ARC-12)
- Description: This shotgun blasts a wide burst of high-voltage electricity that arcs between all units–enemy or otherwise–within range.
BR-14 Adjudicator
- Stats:
- Damage: 80
- Capacity: 25
- Recoil: 50
- Fire Rate: 550
- Weapon Traits: Medium Armor Penetrating
- Description: An accurate, armor-penetrating rifle, the BR-14 Adjudicator delivers righteous judgement to medium-sized enemies, though its restrictive magazine limits its effectiveness against large groups.
CB-9 Exploding Crossbow
- Stats:
- Damage: 270
- Penetration: 3
- Outer Radius: 6
- Weapon Traits: Explosive
- Description: Fires powerful exploding bolts which do maximum damage upon direct impact. Gravity must be accounted for when aiming.
R-36 Eruptor Explosive Rifle
- Stats:
- Damage: 150
- Penetration: 3
- Outer Radius: 7
- Weapon Traits: Medium Armor Penetrating
- Description: This bolt-action rifle fires jet-assisted shells that explode shrapnel in all directions upon impact. Not recommended for close-quarters use.
SG-8P Punisher Plasma Shotgun
- Stats:
- N/A
- Description: A modified Punisher shotgun firing exploding plasma rounds. Fire carefully–exploding plasma can injure squadmates.

Description: Supply boxes containing ammunition with a backpack that allows the user to distribute boxes to fellow Helldivers.
BX-7 Displacer Pack
Description: A portable teleportation device, which activates the moment before the user would take a potentially fatal blow.
