Monopoly Go Sunset Treasures Milestones Rewards Tier Prizes Digging Mini-Game Treasure Hunt

Monopoly Go Sunset Treasures Milestones, Reward List, and Tier Prizes

The Monopoly Go Sunset Treasures will be one of the last events before the Monopoly Origins sticker album ends. As one of the fan-favorite digging mini-games, you will need to earn pickaxe tokens (these were laser guns during Galactic Treasures) mainly from the milestones in main events and tournaments. Then you can use these tokens to dig up treasures and various artifacts in a rectangular grid in a fashion similar to the Battleship board game. There are 20 of these grids that you’ll need to complete before the event is over so that you can earn the Grand Prize.

Sunset Treasures is set to appear on March 18, 2024 and will most likely last for four or five days (we’re leaning toward four days). From the screenshots that we’ve seen so far, this particular treasure hunt will more or less look like Egyptian Treasures except that the environment has a soft rose coloring. Here is what we know so far about the Sunset Treasures digging mini-game for Monopoly GO on iOS and Android.

What are the Monopoly Go Sunset Treasure milestones and tier rewards? [Update]

There will be 20 levels for the Sunset Treasures event for Monopoly Go with each level hiding a certain number of artifacts beneath the sand. This is the same number of milestones for the Galactic Treasures digging mini-game, so we anticipate that the tier rewards will effectively be similar. We won’t be able to confirm the rewards list until the treasure hunt goes live, so we have marked any prizes that we’re unsure about with an asterisk (*). (Update: We’ve got a full list of rewards now.)

  18. 450 Free Dice Rolls + 30-Minute Sticker Boom
  19. 5-Star Purple Sticker Pack
  20. Cash + 2500 Free Dice Rolls + Wild Sticker

The main prizes for Sunset Treasures includes 2500 free dice rolls, the Wild Sticker, and a Blue Hippo board token. This has been confirmed from screenshots we’ve seen of the intro description of the event. We are not sure about the 30-minute Sticker Boom boost for the 13th milestones, though we’ve seen this as a reward more often in major events. If it reappears, we suggest saving it for a Wheel Boost or the back half of a banner where there are 5-star purple sticker packs.

The Wild Sticker will be the final reward on the list and will let you earn any missing sticker you might have in your current album. If you plan on finishing the album by the end of the month, we suggest picking a 5-star gold sticker from a prestige set that you don’t have. Otherwise, you might as well complete the rarest set that you can for the dice rolls as a minor reward.

As usual, you’ll be able to gather a small amount of extra pickaxe tokens by completing Quick Wins and claiming the free gifts from the in-game shop. There’s a chance that Scopely might provide links for free pickaxes too, but it’s most likely just going to be dice rolls (that’s fine though). The normal strategy of using process of elimination and paying close attention to the orientation of any treasures you find beneath the sand will save you a lot of pickaxe tokens in the long run.

Any extra pickaxe tokens you have by the time you finish the event or once it’s over will be turned into extra dice. Each bonus pickaxe token will become 3 free dice, so strategically speaking, you may want to wait to finish the last level so you can amass as many pickaxes as you can.
