The Wheel Boost is easier to use when your overall net worth is particularly low. Completing boards costs a lot of cash after your net worth is around 25,000 or higher. So it’s up to if you want to save that money for Wheel Boost opportunities or not. Sometimes it’s better to save board completions so that you can land on specific spaces, since the fact that your token is reset on the Go space after a board completion is useful for the new airplane mode trick.
