There are a lot of guns in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Some of them are obtained simply through time, while others are locked behind challenges or blueprints. The Code Breaker blueprint in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is rewarded for players who reach the maximum rank in Season 2. To get it, you’ll need to complete enough challenges to reach level 155. If you can pull that off, you’ll earn a very rare version of the FR 5.56 rifle.

Of course, that time and effort will likely be worth it for most players. As is now the norm, the Code Breaker blueprint unlocks a special variant of the FR 5.56 — better known as the FAMAS, one of the most recognizable bullpup-style rifles in the world. The Code Breaker itself is an immaculately detailed weapon with three-round burst-fire capabilities. This version specifically includes an under-barrel 12-gauge shotgun attachment as well as iron sights. Plus, the gold variant looks particularly good, with gilded accents offset by a gold vein-like weave.

The Code Breaker blueprint is the third high-level blueprint to be offered as a season reward in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The first was the OG M4A1, which was given to players who reached the max rank prior to Season 1. Those who reached level 155 after Season 1 began earned the rare M91 Warhead, a custom variant of the M91 LMG.

It’s going to take a bit of grinding, but if you reach level 155 in Modern Warfare Season 2, you’ll eventually unlock the Code Breaker blueprint. Once you have, the special-edition FR 5.56 will be yours.
