The Nintendo Gaming Lounge, located at the San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina directly across from the Comic-Con 2015 convention center, will be holding multiple fan tournaments on Wii U and 3DS consoles.
Open from 10am-7pm on July 9-11 to 10am-5pm on July 12, the lounge will host tournaments for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (All Ages + Under 13), Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire (Under 12 + 13 and Over), and Splatoon. Fans can also compete for entries for drawings to win collectible figures featured in the 3DS game Little Battlers eXperience.
The winner of the age-restricted Super Smash Bros. tournament will win an amiibo prize pack with 9 figurines. Nintendo will also host an amiibo variant of the Super Smash Bros. too.
In case tournament play doesn't hold any interest for you, attendees will have plenty to play at the Nintendo Gaming Lounge, with Super Mario Maker, Yoshi's Woolly World, Skylanders SuperChargers, The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, and Chibi-Robo!: Zip Lash.
