What do you think of LawBreakers thus far? Do you think it will be able to compete with all the other shooters out there when it releases in 2016?

[Original] After announcing its new game earlier this week, Boss Key Productions has pulled back the curtain on the first gameplay trailer for its upcoming gravity-bending shooter, LawBreakers.

Additionally, the studio has provided a sneak peek at four of the game's playable characters, each of which are pictured above. They include the fast, melee-minded Kitsune, the mobile and stylish Maverick, the well-rounded Breacher, and the brutish but powerful Cronos.

But enough about the character lineup. We've got some gameplay footage embedded below for your viewing pleasure. So… what are you waiting for?! Hit play already!

Originally codenamed Project Bluestreak, LawBreakers is an arena-based first-person shooter all about manipulating gravity in a head-to-head competition between the law enforcement and a band of criminals known as Breakers. The game is being developed by Gear of War creator Cliff Bleszinski and his team at Boss Key Productions.

In case you missed its grand announcement a couple days ago, be sure to check out the reveal trailer below for additional details.

LawBreakers won't be out until 2016, but Boss Key is bringing an early build of the game to PAX Prime this weekend. As such, we're sure to have more details for you soon. In the meantime, let us know what you think of the new gameplay trailer in the comments.
