Batman: Arkham Knight to Be Available Again on PC This Month

Batman: Arkham Knight launched successfully on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One back in June, but the PC version was mired with all kinds of technical issues. In fact, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment pulled the PC port from stores, but now the company plans to release it again in the near future.

A new update on the Steam page reveals that Warner Bros. plans to release the PC version again by the end of the month if all goes well.

"As many of you know, we released a major patch for Batman: Arkham Knight PC a few weeks ago," the post states. "While there were significant performance improvements made to the game, the teams are continuing to work on the additional updates that were outlined in our previous post. We expect these updates to be ready at the end of October, at which time the PC version will be made available for purchase."

The post also goes on to mention previously released DLC, which will be available for the PC version when it comes out again. The most noteworthy DLC so far is Batgirl: A Matter of Family, which allows players to take the role of Batgirl in a handful of new missions.

Considering how long it's taken for Warner Bros. to fix the PC version, this news may be too little too late. Obviously it's something that needs to be done, but the damage to reputation goes beyond patches and a re-release.
