As the saying goes: Time heals all wounds. Even deep wounds made by hackers that cost Sony over $170,000,000 can be healed after time.
Sony Corp. CEO, Sir Howard Stringer, while speaking at the IFA Consumer Electronics Fair in Berlin, said that over 3 million new PSN users have registered, proving that things are finally smoothing over for Sony.
This year, we at Sony have been flooded, we've been flattened, we've been hacked, we've been singed. But the summer of our discontent is behind us.
Despite the security breach and subsequent fallout, Stringer says that the PSN is "more secure and better than ever".
Sony has big plans for the PlayStation Network, recently rebranding it and Qriocity under as the Sony Entertainment Network in a push to unify their networked services.
