Last month we got the scoop that Microsoft will be going big this Black Friday with a $299 console bundle. Along with the platform's strong exclusive line-up and soon-to-be-released UI and backwards compatibility features it was sure to make a tremendous impact on the market. However, it faces fierce competition that could limit its success.
Not only is the PS4 already selling remarkably well, but it will similarly have a bundle available for $299 this Black Friday. While the first wind of this was caught in a Meijer ad, now a complete GameStop ad confirms that it'll be a deal that hits multiple retailers.
The $299 packages in question are the Xbox One 500GB Gears of War Bundle and PS4 500GB Uncharted Collection Bundle. Both include a console, one controller, and a remastered game that retails for around $39.99.
The GameStop ad includes a variety of other great deals that include:
- Guitar Hero Live – $69.99
- Limited Edition Xbox One White Controller – $44.99
- Mortal Kombat X Limited Edition – $49.99
- Rock Band 4 Guitar Bundle – $129.99
- The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt with Steelbook – $29.99
GameStop will also have a deal where if you buy Star Wars: Battlefront for PS4 you can save $30 on one of five EA games, including Madden 16 and Need for Speed.
