"We had a short-lived epidemic of premature emancipation, causing the affected person to burp out sensitive info a little sooner than planned, but after a minor surgery and some medication, we got it all under control."
That was Philipp Brock, PR & Marketing Director at Nordic Games, talking about the leak of Darksiders Warmastered Edition when it was accidentally revealed on the official website a week ago. Several European sites, NextN and PC Games, also spilled info on the leak.
But now Nordic Games is ready to provide details on the remastering of Darksiders on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Wii U. First off, it will be launching on October 25 this year for only $20 and will be developed by KAIKO who worked on other projects from Nordic Games.
Supporting a native 1080p resolution on consoles, as well as 4k support and more video options for the PC version, it will have a massive graphical overhaul with double the texture resolutions. While Darksiders Remastered Edition will only be 30fps on Wii U, it promises to be at a constant 60 fps on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Do you have any interest in Darksiders Remastered Edition, or is this one remastered game too many?
