The third entry in the Mafia series is just two weeks away, and its arrival will signal the beginning of a release heavy two months for the gaming industry.
Mafia 3 is set in 1968 New Orleans with protagonist Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam War veteran. The game will play similar to previous titles in the series, with plenty of ranged and melee weapons, but will include stealth and interrogation elements that mix scenarios up.
Mafia 3 will be big on story, featuring several crime families as well as the black mob. Each are based on historical relevance, one of the game's greatest strengths over similar open-world action games.
