Update: The Outlast 2 demo is now also available on Steam for PC gamers.
Original Story: We're one month away from Halloween, and that means horror games are in vogue. The bad news is that there aren't very many appealing horror games coming out anytime soon. The good news is that there are a couple options.
Besides Until Dawn: Rush of Blood coming to PlayStation VR in a week, there's Outlast 2, a sequel to one of the most favorited horror games of this generation.
Outlast 2 will have a different setting than the first, as well as a new story. But judging by our pre-release hands-on, it's roughly what you'd expect: a frightening game. As a matter of fact, our very own Jessica Vasquez called it "Blair Witch Project Meets Saw". Yeah, this game is no joke.

The best part is you can play it this week, and for free. A 5.1GB demo has hit the PlayStation Store that offers a glimpse into what the game is like to play.
The demo is currently only available in the Russian Playstation Store, but you can expect it to become available in other territories in the near future, likely once midnight strikes.
Outlast 2 will arrive on Xbox One, PS4, and PC in Q1 2017.
