Looking to make a budget PC? If so, you might want to wait another week and see if Nvidia's upcoming product is what you're looking for.
VideoCardz has leaked the final specs for Nvidia's upcoming 10-series budget line. As usual, it will come in two flavors, the GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti. Although this level of card is usually not one to raise attention, the performance of these two cards is beyond what many expected.
The specs are as follows:
640 CUDA Cores
2GB G5
75W
October 25th
$109
GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
768 CUDA Cores
4GB G5
75W
october 25th
$139
The generational leap of the 10-series architecture has resulted in the 1050 equating to roughly an overclocked GTX 770, which was a $340 card only four years ago. Due to this, the GTX 1050 will be a good low-cost option for gamers, especially those who prioritize console gaming but would like to gain access to PC exclusive titles without breaking the bank.
It is confirmed that Asus, EVGA, Galax, Gigabyte, Colorful, Inno3D, MSI, Palit, and Zotac will all offer variations of the GTX 1050, some using reference designs.
