GameStop Beefs Up Trade-In Deals For Nintendo Switch

The release date for the Nintendo Switch is approaching faster than you think. In just a few short weeks, we'll have a brand-new console on the market, one with as much baggage as it has potential.

GameStop, after already offering a $75 bonus trade-in credit for other consoles in exchange for the Switch, is now sweetening the deal even further, offering you more incentive to throw caution to the wind and buy the Nintendo Switch.

Now, any and all trade-ins that go toward Nintendo Switch games and accessories will be given an additional 50% store credit, the company confirmed on Twitter.

"March 3rd will be here before you know it! Make sure you're ready for the Switch…" the company Tweeted along with this picture:

This will certainly go a long way toward mitigating the legitimate concerns of not having a launch game bundled with the console, and having its accessories be too expensive, and the Switch has already assuaged a lot of fears regarding its online services, which are reasonably priced at around $20 per year.

Now you can get rid of your old stuff for a The Legend of Zelda and have it basically be a console bundle. Will this do the trick for you, or does that sound too desperate?
