Amazon.com has had its own version of the PlayStation Network's storefront for some time now. But suddenly, without any notice at all, Amazon has removed the PlayStation Network hub from the site, removed all PlayStation Network digital download products, and has even pulled their listings for PlayStation Network value cards. Third-party sellers are still offering PSN cards but at ridiculous prices.
While Amazon nor Sony had made any mention of why this has happened, Amazon did confirm to PSNStores, an unofficial PSN blog, that the PSN offering has been removed:
We have no announcements regarding this change in selection; however, we can confirm that Amazon Digital Video Game Downloads is not currently offering Playstation Network Online Game Codes and Points Cards.
It was such a swift move by Amazon that the PSN "node' on the website is still active, but completely blank.
