3DS November Update Detailed

The Nintendo 3DS launched sans a few features. While Nintendo has already made good on the promised eShop and internet browser, Nintendo won't be stopping the evolution of its handheld there. In its scheduled press conference, Nintendo detailed November's 3DS update.

With the update, the 3DS will be able to capture 3D video up to 10 minutes in lengthperfect for Youtube. The update also lends the 3DS camera the ability to record stop-motion films, where the 3DS takes snapshots at intervals, then turns them into a stop-motion movie.

Aside from the camera, the 3DS update will also bring new puzzles to Puzzle Swap in StreetPass Mii Plaza, a new dungeon in StreetPass Quest, a sequel to the Find the Mii mini-game, and a way to batch transfer data to other 3DS systems.

In December, the 3DS will get a new messaging called Nintendo Letterbox that will let users send notes, sounds, and photos to their friends.

In related news, the 3DS and Nintendo Wii will both have access to Hulu Plus before the end of the year.
