Designers Envisions The Next Xbox

Forgoing the usual "Xbox 720" moniker, architecture designer Joseph Dumary has envisioned the future of the Xbox console with the self-dubbed Xbox Prestige.

Curvier and slimmer than even the Xbox 360 Slim, he imagines a KinectIN feature that utilizes two cameras buitly into the console as well as integrated voice recogniition for a hands-free gaming powerhouse (that will piss off people who already purchased a Kinect). This will also allow gamers to scan a game's chip or tag to initialize play off the "Microsoft Xbox Cloud or from the the internal 2TB hard drive".

If that weren't enough, the Xbox Prestige has an 8-core processor for speeds "up to 20 times faster than previous Xbox models", "supports 3D, 4K2K, multiTV (DPConnect), live TV, and webcam, as well as GPS that allows users to view the location of any other user on an active map".

I don't think that last feature is a good idea at all with the potential lawsuits alone. The 2TB hard drive is a bit farfetched, and even if it comes to be true, it will likely be an optional add-on for hundreds of dollars. It also suggests the sudden departure of media discs, which I don't see going away for at least five years, as well as the creation of the Microsoft Xbox Cloud, which may be too soon to realize just yet.

In other words, this Xbox Prestige will make the actual next Xbox 360 look like child's play.
