Preparing for the incredible demand for Mass Effect 3, retailers are busy trying to soak in as many pre-orders as they possibly can before the title's launch on March 6th.
Unsurprisingly, purchasing the final chapter in the Mass Effect trilogy at GameStop will net you a pack of exclusive in-game weapons and armor: the N7 Valkaryie Rifle (which is misspelled?) and Defender Armor. If they're anything like the other weapons and armor, though, they probably won't do much other than get you some stat bonus that won't mean much if you're reckless.
Perhaps in response, Amazon has recently re-opened their pre-order offer for Mass Effect 3, handing costumers a $10 Amazon.com certificate two days after it's shipped. You can't use it toward MP3s or a Kindle (why, I don't know), but it is extra money in your pocket, I suppose.
