Oversharing on Facebook truly knows no bounds, as Square Enix announced today via press release that Final Fantasy XIII-2 players can now post their Achievements and Trophies directly to Facebook while they play.
In addition, players can upload information on their game progress, including their party setup, Pokemon monsters collected, and battle scores.
From the press release:
Square Enix announced today the ability for players to post achievements and trophies on Facebook® as they journey through FINAL FANTASY® XIII-2, now available at retailers.
For the first time in FINAL FANTASY history, players can keep friends up-to-date with their gaming experience via a direct link to Facebook. Once players are introduced to the Historia Crux, they will have the chance to upload information about their progress: including current party setup, monsters collected, battle scores and more.
Technically, you can already post your Achievements and Trophies via the PSN or third-party clients like Raptr, but I guess the good folks at SE decided that people really wanted "official" postings regarding their game progress. And now you can share your monster collection and battle scores! (Seriously, who asked for this?)
