According to a video report by Bloomberg, Nexon has made a takeover bid for Electronic Arts. The South Korean developer and publisher, known best for MapleStory and more recently Mabinogi, Dungeon Fighter Online, Vindictus, Atlantica Online, and Dragon Nest, certainly has the money to do so.
The newscaster doesn't have any details on the offer: "We have no idea how EA might have responded to this reported offer." And of course, EA isn't going to comment on rumors or speculation.
On a good note, though, Electronic Arts' shares has spiked "more than six per cent" after this news. In additional news, Game Revolution will also put in a bid. Let's not talk about what will happen to their shares. Bwa ha ha!
