Nomura-san is at it again! Just last month, he hinted about a sequel for The World Ends With You, and now, with the release of Kingdom Hearts 3DS in Japan, he's dropped yet another hint about a future Square Enix title. It sounds like it's in reference to the much-awaited Kingdom Hearts 3, and Lord knows it's about freaking time.
Along with the release of the game for Kingdom Hearts 3DS, Japan had the release of the Kingdom Hearts 3DS Ultimania book, which serves as both a strategy guide and an artbook. Within the book, it quotes Tetsuya Nomura as saying that the team has "started making a variety of movements for the new title(s) in the series," and that he "believes they'll be able to make an announcement pretty soon."
And he didn't stop there. He squashed rumors of a sequel to Birth by Sleep and a Final Mix version of Kingdom Hearts 3DS.
Of course, with the way that this series as gone, watch this new announcement be a Vita game or a HD Collection of Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts 2, and Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories (the PS2 remake, not the original GBA version). I wouldn't complain if that happened, but OMG JUST WORK ON THE THIRD GAME ALREADY!
