Square Enix has been working on a major overhaul for the colossal failure that has been Final Fantasy XIV. Originally dubbed "Version 2.0," this updated version is set to bring some major changes to the struggling MMO. It's been a long time coming, but Square finally has something to show on the update, including the official subtitle "A Realm Reborn."
To go along with this announcement, the publisher released a trailer for the game. Unfortunately – and to no one's surprise – we have no idea when the world of FFXIV will see this major overhaul, as all we have to go on right now is a "soon" release window. Don't hold your breath though, as Square's concept of time is clearly quite different than the average person's (see Versus XIII).
