Sumo Digital's upcoming racer Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed allegedly looks as good if not better on the Wii U when compared to the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. Sega marketing executive Ben Finch made the declaration to Eurogamer that graphically, the Wii U is "on par, or maybe even better" than current generation consoles when comparing the various versions of the Sega-centric racer.
We've heard chatter along these lines in the past, and honestly, it should hardly come as a surprise considering the fact that Nintendo is some five years late to the HD party.
Not only will the Wii U version of the Sonic racer boast "maybe even better" visuals, it also makes excellent use of the GamePad, allowing players to play it remotely on the screen, use it as a rear view mirror, or guide fired rockets with weapon-cam functionality.
