When the Nintendo Switch launched conspicuous lack of streaming service apps was a hot topic among fans. It’s been eight months since the console made its debut, but it’s finally getting its first streaming service: Hulu.
Hulu on Nintendo Switch: How to Get It
Starting today when the Switch eShop updates you’ll be able to download the Hulu app. As long as you have an account, you should be able to log in and watch to your heart’s content.
The Nintendo Switch’s max resolution is 1080p when docked and 720p when in handheld mode. It’s unknown yet if Hulu content will be available at the resolution when the console is docked or if 720p will be the max it can access.

The official page for the Hulu app on Nintendo Switch is currently down, but once the eShop refreshes you should be able to see it.
There’s also some other great games coming to Switch this week. Today you can grab Octodad: Dadliest Catch, which is a hilarious Octopus/Dad simulator. Tomorrow Doom comes out, though at $59.99 you might want to get any other version. November 14 is the biggest day for the Switch this month though. On that date, you can purchase L.A. Noire, Rime, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, and Rocket League.
With Hulu arriving on Switch, surely Netflix can’t be far behind. Hopefully, the floodgates will open, and the Switch will achieve streaming parity with Sony and Microsoft’s consoles.
