God of War‘s release date may have been confirmed by the PlayStation Store, with a listing for the game on the Spanish version of PS4’s storefront suggesting that it’s set to come out sooner rather than later.
The listing on the Spanish PlayStation Store suggests that God of War will release on March 22nd, 2018, which falls in line with previous comments that the game would launch in early 2018. The listing was shared by Nibel on Twitter, and can be viewed below:
God of War is one of the PS4’s biggest exclusives in 2018, and releasing in March would see it kicking off what is set to be another excellent year for Sony’s console.

God of War will launch exclusively on the PS4, with it set to be a departure from the hack ‘n’ slash combat of the series, instead playing out more like a third-person action adventure such as Horizon Zero Dawn. The game will focus upon anti-hero Kratos’ relationship with his son, though will also see players tackling the giant, imposing enemies the series has become known for.
