Next Big Kinect Game In The Works From The Matrix Effects Guru

With Microsoft openly stating that they are planning on focusing on Kinect in 2011, gamers may be slightly disappointed at the 360's upcoming line-up. But with Kinect winning a Guinness World Record for its fast sales, there is a huge market for developers to exploit – something that Academy Award winning visual designer of The Matrix Trilogy, John Gaeta, is hoping to do.

Gaeta's small studio FLOAT (hybrid entertainment) has been working on the Kinect, as well as "other emergent motion platforms" since 2009, so the title is likely deep in development. Over on a job listing on Gamasutra, it is revealed that successful applicants will "work closely with a small, dedicated team of engineers, artists and designers to make the next BIG Xbox 360 Kinect title" – a rather bold statement. The game is also described as a "new, truly innovative Kinect title" and will likely be a "NUI Based experience" – that is, a natural user interface that is virtually invisible.

With E3 right around the corner, it's possible that we could see FLOAT's game at the annual gaming conference. What would you like to see in the game? Let us know below.
