Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed via Twitter that the publisher has successfully shipped a whopping two million copies of Dragon Ball FighterZ worldwide, including both physical and digital downloads.
Incredibly that’s not the only milestone that the game managed to achieve. Dragon Ball FighterZ has now set the record for being the fastest ever Dragon Ball video game in the franchise to reach two million copies, accomplishing the feat in an impressive timeframe of less than a week.
The 2.5D fighting game developed by Arc System Works has been a huge hit so far amongst fighting game enthusiasts and Dragon Ball fans, featuring a brand new story with original characters like Android 21 and old favorites like Future Trunks as well as characters from the ongoing Dragon Ball Super series like Beerus.
We gave it a rating of four out of five in our review, which you can check out over here.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is out now for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
