EA has been quite focused on supporting our nation's military with Medal of Honor: Warfighter. First, they released a Military Edition that could only be sold to military personnel and their families via the military's own e-store, GovX. Then they announced Project Honor, a program that sold Medal of Honor-themed merchandise and donated all of the proceeds to the Special Operations Community. And now, EA has teamed up with Sony Pictures to donate at least $1 million to charities that benefit our veterans.
EA recently announced a Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack for their upcoming MoH game, and they will donate a portion of the proeeds from the sales as part of their $1 million minimum donation. This is all part of its Project Honor program mentioned above.
The map pack is based on two locales featured in Zero Dark Thirty, an upcoming military movie. The pack will be available on December 17th for only $9.99.
Spend $10 for a map pack on Warfighter, help veterans at the same time. It's a win-win for Medal of Honor players.
