No matter what your thoughts on Dead Island are—low play value, repetition, bugs, etc.—one fact remains: the game sold a lot of units. As a result, a sequel is in the works, and the first order of hype is to release a CGI trailer that makes you instantly want to pre-order it.
Dead Island: Riptide now has a trailer for your eyes to feed on, and it doesn't disappoint. As with the original game, Riptide's debut trailer is rendered in stunning CGI centered around emotion with a soft, piano piece playing in the background and no words spoken.
