Nothing quite gets us ready for an awesome day of God-slaying than Dog of War, uh, I mean God of War! Look, it’s an easy mistake to make. Yes, today is the day that we can all finally get home after work and settle in to play God of War until it’s 4 AM and you’re left wondering what life was like before you stepped inside Kratos and Atreus’ world. It’s understandable and we at Game Revolution know what you’re going through.
Thankfully Sony has our backs. Today they released a video on YouTube that shows all viewers how important two things are. The first, that your hearing is great and two, linguistic gymnastics are a thing you can totally handle. You can check out the trailer below because it sure beats waiting for your God of War copy to finish downloading, right? We do recommend watching the video on this page rather than YouTube as there are a large number of spoilerific videos being uploaded.
The video’s YouTube summary certainly makes it sounds like a game worth our time: “Living as a dog outside the shadow of the gods, Kratos must adapt to unfamiliar kennels, unexpected walkies and a second chance at being petted. Together with his son Atreus, the pair will venture into the realm of Muttgard and fight to fulfill a deeply personal game of fetch.”
We would buy it without even a moment of hesitation, wouldn’t you? Sadly for all you dog fans out there, the trailer is just a spoof.
