The long-awaited Stardew Valley Multiplayer is finally here, even if its only in the beta mode on the PC and Mac right now. If you’ve got Stardew Valley on Steam, feel free to look at the full list of features and how you can download the beta version for yourself.
A lot of new features has been added to the game, and not just for multiplayer. Some features (such as horses being able to wear hats) have now been included. As for multiplayer, players are now able to host up to four of their friends on their farm. Though you will need to put some work in to make that possible, mostly by making sure your friends have cabins to sleep in.
There never really is enough hours in the day, is there? Fortunately, the friends you invite will also be able to help you around on your farm to do those extra chores that you just can’t get around to doing by yourself. You and your friends will then be able to split up the profits at the end of the day, with the difficulty being available to change in order change how the profits are divided up.
What’s more, your friends will be able to join you during festivals too. Still not sure how to get out of that darned maze? No worries, you now have a team that can help you right until the very end. A friend who can get you that golden pumpkin is someone that is marriage-worthy, right? If you agree, then you’re in luck! Players are able to marry one another, as well as NPCs from the host’s town.
There are a lot of features in the new beta that will leave many console fans feeling envious, especially since it hasn’t been confirmed when this new version of Stardew Valley will be available to them. Until then? PC players will have bragging rights.
