MS Studios KALE Working on Cloud-Powered “Next Major Innovation in Interactive Television and Entertainment” For Casual Audiences



While cloud gaming has its benefits, and potentially opens gaming up to a much larger audience, it still hasn't been a service that many thought would be offered to casual gamers early on. But Microsoft has big plans for getting kids to play Kinect and use the cloud.

Microsoft Studios' Kids and Lifestyles Entertainment (KALE) organization is at the forefront of developing new interactive entertainment experiences that appeal to all members of the family across all devices, led from the living room, powered by the cloud. To deliver on this vision, we are building a team to create experiences which blur the line between traditional linear video content and interactive Kinect experiences. You will be responsible for the creation of new technology as well as delivering a platform and tool set that can be used to deliver multiple entertainment products from high profile IP partners in a flexible, rapid, and low cost way. You will be on the front lines of emerging technologies and experiences with business critical partners.
