We don’t know much about Assassin’s Creed Odyssey OST, but what we do know is that the musical theme that’s just been released by Ubisoft sounds absolutely enchanting. In our opinion, music in video games is sorely underrated, especially as it brings so much more to a scene than one would expect it to. So we’re more than pleased to know that even if players aren’t going to be buying the game, they’ll at least be looking to include it in their very own playlist.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was one of the highlights of E3, with many branding it as the “game that’s more BioWare than BioWare’s actual” game thanks to its inclusion of more RPG elements, including romance and being able to choose which character you can play as. Not only that, but it was a hit on social media, too, and has to be one of the most anticipated games that will be coming out this year.
While it isn’t certain whether the game will meet our standards or not, considering how great the theme sounds it’s safe to say that our expectations are high that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will be a stunning, immersive game that we’ll look back on fondly in the future.
As for the soundtrack, it has been titled as “Legend of the Eagle Bearer” which we guess may be hinting towards the character’s main characters, Alexios and Kassandra. This is their ‘Odyssey’ after all.
Nevertheless, the first track of the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey OST is now available to listen to on YouTube, as well as iTunes and Spotify. The composers for this epic piece are the duo, The Last Flight, who was last seen working on the Horizon Zero Dawn OST.
If you’ve not listened to the soundtrack for yourself just yet, then don’t deny yourself any longer and listen to it below, via YouTube.
