Not too long ago, the Wii received a redesign of sorts when Nintendo decided to release a slightly more dumbed-down version of the system that did not include GameCube controller ports. It looks like this December, however, we may be seeing a much more drastic revision of the hardware, as a new report from NintendoWorldReport suggests that the Big N is planning to launch the "Wii Mini" next month.
According to the outlet, an unnamed "major retailer" shared with them the following listing:
Introducing the Wii Mini! Coming Dec 7 2012! WII MINI CONSOLE Compact Nintendo Wii Console Comes with Sensor Bar, Nunchuk and Wii Remote Plus with Jacket.
Nintendo has yet to confirm the validity of this report, so we'll have to treat is as rumor for the time being. In the meantime, let us know in the comments below whether or not a smaller version of Nintendo's motion-heavy console has you interested.
