The official cover art for BioShock Infinite was revealed this weekend, sporting a very serious (and pissed off) Booker DeWitt. Many (including myself) lamented the fact that neither Songbird nor Elizabeth managed to score a spot on the front of the game, but Irrational's Ken Levine has attempted to appease us complainers with the reveal that Elizabeth will featured on the back.
If you've been following the game ever since it was unveiled a few years ago, you'll recall the slight visual tweaks that altered Elizabeth's appearance. What you see above is the final product, which interestingly enough is based on Russian cosplayer Anna Ormeli Moleva, who has been deemed the "official face of Elizabeth."
Call me crazy, but I liked the slightly more cartoonish take on her in the game's first trailer. Though perhaps I'm just splitting hairs…
Going forward, Moleva will serve as the inspiration for all of the game's art as well as an upcoming television ad. What are your thoughts on Elizabeth's look? Do you like the more realistic interpretation on the game's box? Let us know in the comments below.
Oh yeah, don't forget to mark your calendars! BioShock Infinite launches on February 26th for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
