Sony has announced the PS Plus Free Games for the month of September 2018. The PS Plus Free Games September 2018 consists of two games for each platform, including the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita. We have two major games to look forward to next month, including Bungie’s Destiny 2 and God of War 3 Remastered. With the exception of Destiny 2, all of these games will be made accessible for PS Plus subscribers starting from September 4, 2018.
As revealed on PlayStation Blog, the biggest free game offered in September’s line-up has got to be Destiny 2. As an added bonus and a pleasant change from the usual schedule, the game is actually already available for all PlayStation Plus users starting today. This is so players can take advantage of the 24-hour free trial of Destiny 2 Forsaken‘s new hybrid PvE and PvP mode, Gambit, which begins on September 1 at 10 am PDT.
The other major PS4 game for grabs next month is God of War 3 Remastered, which was originally released in 2015 to celebrate the franchise’s tenth anniversary. It’s an iconic game and an essential title in the franchise, especially for those whose only experience with Kratos is this year’s brilliant God of War. The rest of September’s line-up is as follows:
- Another World 20th Anniversary Edition (PS3)
- QUBE Director’s Cut (PS3)
- Sparkle 2 (PS Vita)
- Foul Play (PS Vita)
Last but not least, PlayLink and PlayStation VR bonus games are also available as part of the PS Plus Free Games September 2018 line-up. These include Knowledge is Power and Here They Lie. Here’s a friendly reminder that players don’t have to download the free games to redeem them. Players can simply add the free games to their library and it will stay there for as long as their PS Plus subscription lasts. At least that way they can download the games at any time without worrying about losing those free games.
