While LEGO Harry Potter Collection has been available on PS4 and PC since October 2016, Warner Bros and TT Games have officially confirmed that it is releasing on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch later this year. The LEGO Harry Potter Collection will release digitally and physically on Xbox One and Switch on October 30. We’ll be casting brick-based spells and attempting to take down Voldemort on every console very soon.
The official LEGO Twitter account shared the news earlier on today. A magical trailer accompanied the announcement, which you can watch below. It’s got Harry, Ron, Hermione, and other nostalgia-fueled references from the books and films.

LEGO Harry Potter was originally released in two volumes: LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 and 5-7. Much like LEGO Star Wars The Complete Saga before it, this new collection puts everything together into one neat little package. In the LEGO Potter Collection, you’ll be fighting through each of the eight films (or seven books, for those who prefer their entertainment written down) in traditional LEGO fashion. You’ll visit all the locations and hit all the story beats, but in a charming, blocky way.
The release date of this latest LEGO collection puts it just ahead of the upcoming Harry Potter film, Fantastic Beasts The Crimes of Grindelwald. It is set to hit theaters on November 16, 2018. Official LEGO toys based on that film have been announced, but it is unlikely that we will see a game on the series in the near future.
But five Fantastic Beast films are planned to come out, so it is possible at some time down the line, but not now. At least we get to return to the wizarding world of Harry Potter soon.
