Catherine: Full Body

New Catherine: Full Body Trailer Showcases More Gameplay, Persona 5 Crossover

Atlus has released a new Japanese language trailer for Catherine: Full Body. The trailer showcases new cutscenes, gameplay, and features for the remastered release of the 2011 puzzle-platformer. The game will release in Japan on February 14, 2019 for PS4 and the PS Vita. A Western release is scheduled for some point in 2019.

The new NSFW trailer for Catherine: Full Body has revealed that the remastered game will receive a limited edition release in Japan. This set will include the game, a slipcase with brand new artwork from Shigenori Soejima, and an art book. In addition to this, the exclusive release will also include the soundtrack to the game and two pieces of DLC. The first DLC will allow players to change the voice actress playing Catherine, while the second downloadable content will allow the player to see all the characters during cutscenes in their underwear.

The trailer also showed off some of the Persona 5 DLC for the game. This downloadable content will give the player the ability to use the protagonist, Joker, in the Babel and Colosseum modes. Additionally, this DLC will include the Phantom Thieves from the latest Persona entry, where the game will provide commentary while Joker is being used in these modes. This DLC will be made available as paid content after the game’s release.

The trailer itself begins with a humorous round of interviews with the public where they are asked if they think the concept of a fated lover exists, then what they would do if they met this person. The four-minute video then goes on to show off the new graphics for the remastered version of the game. This new trailer confirms that the new character is named Qatherine and not Rin, as the fans were referring to her as.

The original game came out on PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 in 2011 and was met with positive reviews. Our own review of the original release praised the title for its dark story, challenging gameplay, and slick visual style.
