Nintendo has announced the Yo-kai Watch 3 release date for Europe and North America. The title will release in Europe this Winter, and North America on February 8, 2019. Winter, however, could mean late 2018, or early 2019 release date for Europe.
Taking to Twitter to announce the release dates, Nintendo offered a little more information. Alongside the announcement, a brand-new art-work was released as well as some general information regarding the game. You can see Nintendo of Europe’s tweet below:

Details regarding the Western release of Yo-kai Watch 3 are thin on the ground. It isn’t yet known, for example, whether the game will release in the series’ traditional two versions (Sushi and Tempura in Japan), or whether it will be the Sukiyaki edition. Yo-kai Watch 3 Sukiyaki is an updated combination of the two original versions. It features new Yo-kai and a mode similar to Yo-kai Watch Blasters involving boss Yo-kai.
Not content with only announcing the Yo-kai Watch 3 Western release date, Nintendo also announced a free update for Yo-kai Watch Blasters. Dubbed the “Moon Rabbit Crew” update, the free add-on brings with it new missions, new Yo-kai, Big Bosses, and even new areas to explore. What’s more, if you link your save file between either Yo-kai Watch Blasters Red Cat Corps or White Dog Squad, you’ll be granted exclusive in-game bonuses. The trailer for the free update can be seen below:
While we are set to get Yo-kai Watch 3 in the West this upcoming Winter, Level-5 is currently moving on from the 3DS, and onto the Switch. Yo-kai Watch 4 is on track to release in Japan by the end of 2018. It features an all-new graphics engine, shares its battle system with Yo-kai Watch Blasters, and you will be able to swap between over two playable characters. There has been no word on a Western release date of Yo-kai Watch 4 as of writing.
