Darksiders 3 Force Hollow

Darksiders 3 Force Hollow Introduced in New Trailer

THQ Nordic has unleashed a brand new Darksiders 3 trailer. The Darksiders 3 Force Hollow trailer introduces a new gameplay mechanic and shows off some of the game’s environments, enemies, and combat. Alongside the new trailer, THQ Nordic also gave us a new batch of screenshots and a slew of new information.

Watch Fury dish out the pain and unleash her Force Hollow transformation in the latest trailer for Darksiders 3 below:

The transformation allows Fury to exceed her normal strength and transforms her whip “Scorn” into a giant hammer. According to THQ Nordic (via Gematsu), “the Force Hollow allows Fury the collection and precise focusing of energy into concentrated attacks. With Scorn taking on the appearance of a giant hammer, Fury can shatter her enemy’s defenses and inflict severe damage.” Darksiders 3 Force Hollow is not only a transformation that awards Fury with unmatchable power, however. It will also drag all sorts of things towards you.

Activating the Force Hollow transformation will create a magic sphere around Fury that draws everything in: “Scorn can also act as a focal point for magnetic attraction-allowing Fury to draw in energy, rubble, and even enemies.” Once you have done this, it will release everything in “a single explosive burst.” What’s more, the Force Hollow transformation can even help you to navigate the environment: “With great effort, Fury can even maintain this magnetic sphere to traverse walls and ceilings.” Draw them in and then blow them away with this power.

Darksiders 3 is due to release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 27, 2018. You’ll be able to pick up the standard edition of the game, or one of its four special editions. Different editions include the likes of DLC, soundtracks, a premium artbook, a 10″ figurine of Fury, a steelbook, and even a wall scroll.
