A PUBG BAPE clothing collaboration may be in the works for PUBG Mobile. The popular battle royale game’s official Twitter account, as well as a banner in Times Square, has hinted at this team-up. As of writing, there is no further news on what this collaboration could look like. Further details will be revealed soon.
The PUBG BAPE partnership was first hinted at via a tweet from the official PUBG Mobile account. It shows the silhouette of the A Bathing Ape brand’s logo with “Together Strong” and “October, 2018” underneath it.

In addition to this, the game has received a large amount of advertising in New York’s Time Square. A press release revealed that a banner featuring this image is currently adorning the Nasdaq MarketSite. It also has been showing the main artwork for the game with text reading “Something Big Is Coming” on it. Additionally, a PR email that was sent out which notes that “Tencent Games and PUBG Corporation might have up (or on) its sleeves.” This further implies some kind of clothing collaboration with the Japanese brand.
A Bathing Ape (stylised as BAPE) is a Japanese clothing brand established in 1993. It was established in Ura-Harajuku, a district in Tokyo famous for creating new and exciting fashion. The brand focuses on streetwear, such as hoodies, t-shirts, and shoes. It has had many other pop culture collaborations before. Some collaborators with the company include Marvel, Hello Kitty, and Spongebob Squarepants. The clothing line is also very popular with various artists such as Wiz Khalifa and Pharell.
PUBG Mobile is the mobile port of Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds. It was released in 2018 for iOS and Android.
