Bethesda announced via their blog today that seven, SEVEN previously unreleased soundtracks from their most popular games are now available via iTunes. A few soundtracks were available once before through Bethesda's game sites, such as the soundtrack for Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but none have been available so publicly before. Unfortunately, if you hate iTunes with a passion, then you aren't going to be very happy, as all soundtracks are currently available via iTunes only.
- The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Original Game Soundtrack – (Jeremy Soule) — $9.99
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Original Game Soundtrack – (Jeremy Soule) – $9.99
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Original Game Soundtrack – (Jeremy Soule) — $15.99
- Fallout 3 Original Game Soundtrack – (Inon Zur) — $11.99
- Fallout: New Vegas Original Game Soundtrack (Inon Zur) — $11.99
- Dishonored Original Game Soundtrack – (Daniel Licht) — $9.99
- RAGE Original Game Soundtrack (Rod Abernethy) — $9.99
The most exciting release in this bunch is the soundtrack for Dishonored, which has an amazing soundtrack that could not be found for purchase anywhere. The closest that was in existence was a YouTube playlist, which is hardly the same as enjoying the actual soundtrack. But now my ears are happy, my wallet is far lighter, and yours can be too.
