Rockstar Responds to Red Dead Online Feedback

Rockstar has responded to Red Dead Online feedback from fans after its first few days in beta. The company appears to be addressing major concerns from players in getting its online component of Red Dead Redemption 2 ready for full release.

Rockstar posted the Red Dead Online feedback response to its Twitter account and started by thanking everyone for participating in the beta and for their feedback and assistance in testing the game.

It goes on to address one of the biggest problems players are having in Red Dead Online which is the in-game economy. Currently, players are already quite frustrated the money problems. In its current state, it could take a full workday to earn a single gold bar in Red Dead Online. This has not only led to less than positive Red Dead Online feedback around the issue but also to players using things like the circling races exploit to try to earn extra cash.

“Our current areas of focus include the in-game economy, which will require some additional balancing in order to ensure all activities are appropriately rewarding and fun as well as some persistent bugs that are causing some players to be kicked from sessions,” said Rockstar.

It goes on to explain that Red Dead Online has been made in such a way that these fixes should be able to be implemented quickly. The plan is to have an update out by the end of the week with more updates to follow.

Rockstar thanks fans once again for their Red Dead Online feedback and encourages players to keep sending it through the use of the online form.

Seeing a response like this so quickly that addresses some of the biggest issues is encouraging to the game’s development moving forward.
