We've heard talk about it in the past, and a new report only supports the rumors. The PlayStation 4's controller will apparently have a touchpad built right onto the surface of the device.
This info comes by way of VG247, which sites and unnamed source who claims that the controller's Start and Select buttons have been moved to make room for a touch-sensitive pad that will be smack-dab in the middle of the controller. However, the "Share" button that was rumored earlier this year by Edge apparently isn't going to be present.
The source goes on to say that it is “more or less” the same general design as the DualShock PlayStation fans have come to know and love, but with improved R2 and L2 triggers. Hallelujah!
Obviously, we won't know for sure what the new controller will look like until Sony pulls back the curtain of mystery, which we all assume will be on February 20th. Only one week away!
