Blizzcon Confirmed For November 2013, Perfect Time To Unveil Project Titan

You are not prepared!

After a one year leave of absence Blizzard has announced that Blizzcon will return for 2013. It is scheduled to be hosted on November 8th and 9th at the Anaheim Convention Center, the same place it was hosted in 2011 and prior.

By the time November rolls around all of Blizzard's recent projects will be released. Diablo 3 and yet another World of Warcraft expansion launched last year while StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm debuts next month—and boy is its trailer awesome. Because of this, it's extremely likely that we'll finally see the long-awaited Project Titan.

The scary thing is Blizzard is known for showing games well in advance of their release. World of Warcraft was announced in 2001 but wouldn't be on store shelves until 2004, three full years later. Similarly, StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm was announced three years before its final release. Therefore, it isn't crazy to think that we'll be waiting a few years until we can actually play Blizzard's next MMO . On the plus side, simply knowing what in the world it is and what makes it a departure from World of Warcraft's—and just about every other MMO's—aging model is enough to be at least partially satisfied.
