If you've listened to even a single episode of GR Radio of which I'm on, you're likely well aware of the fact that my affinity toward games has everything to do with their unique storytelling capabilities. As such, it should come has no shock to you that I am basically bursting at the seams in anticipation for BioShock Infinite, and a recent statement from 2K Games certainly isn't making the wait any easier.
The publisher's UK marketing boss Simon Turner told MCV, that “BioShock Infinite is like no other shooter out there," adding, “Not only does it demonstrate the technical quality that gamers expect, but the story and characters invite you into a world so rich and immersive that people will be talking about it for a long time to come.”
It may sound like a bunch of empty, marketing-driven words, but considering what Ken Levine and his team at Irrational managed to accomplish with the original BioShock, I'm 100% confident in their ability to deliver an unforgettable experience yet again. Come on guys, don't let me down!
