It's been two years since the well-documented earthquake and tsunami destroyed a huge portion of Northeast Japan, leaving recovery is still crawling, and the majority of the affected have not been able to move back into their homes and resume their previous lives. Rebuilding efforts still need your help. In light of this, Aksys Games is holding a special event in its store. For every game you buy from the Aksys Online Store, now through March 15th, the company will donate $5 to The Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.
So go pick up the highly acclaimed Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, a cool PSP game like Jikandia, or a great fighter like BlazBlue. You'll get a good game and give money to a worthwhile cause.
(In the picture above, I am second from the left. My group is standing on the foundation of what was a house. It is completely gone now, as are virtually all others in that town. Behind us are some destroyed apartment buildings.)
