Could Microsoft and Rare be cooking up a new entry in the Killer Instinct franchise for the Xbox 720? It sure is a possibility, as the company has finally resolved its trademark dispute with Fox.
The two have signed a coexistence agreement in which Fox has pledged to not object to Microsoft’s use of the Killer Instinct phrase. This first became an issue when Microsoft's application for the trademark was denied because of a television series with the same name.
