Dead by Daylight Evil Dead leak

Dead by Daylight Evil Dead DLC reportedly leaked

Dead by Daylight just got a new batch of content with today’s Demise of the Faithful update. That update brought a new killer, survivor, and map to Behaviour Interactive’s asymmetrical multiplayer game. The update has also apparently leaked Dead by Daylight Evil Dead DLC coming in the future.

Today’s new Demise of the Faithful DLC introduced the Plague, a new killer, and Jane Romero, a new survivor along with a new map. The update also added a number of new perks in the Kill Your Friends game mode relating to Evil Dead‘s Ash Williams. Fans are speculating that Ash will be the next survivor added to the game.

Dead by Daylight Evil Dead Ash perk

Redditor TheMikeOTR noticed a new perk called “Mettle of Man” which is a perk specifically for Ash Williams from Evil Dead. Other perks for Ash include “Flip-Flop” and “Buckle Up” that are rare and very rare perks, respectively. All three feature quotes spoken by Bruce Campbell’s Ash Williams from various incarnations of the Evil Dead series. The perks were found in the PS4 version of the game, and appear to have been left in the patch accidentally.

Behaviour Interactive has not acknowledged the leak, but the game’s subreddit has been alight with rumors of the next chapter and survivor.

Dead by Daylight released on Nintendo Switch in February 2019, following ports to the PS4 and Xbox One in 2017. Behaviour initially released the game on Windows in June 2016, following in the footsteps of games like Evolve and Natural Selection 2. The game has sold over four million copies since release.

Since its release, Dead by Daylight has seen 11 major content updates known as “chapters” that have included a range of licensed and brand-new characters. Characters from HalloweenLeatherfaceA Nightmare on Elm StreetLeft 4 Dead, and Saw have been included in DLC chapters for the game. Dead by Daylight Evil Dead looks to be the next licensed addition to the game.
